Nestled at the end of a secluded valley and embraced on three sides by the untouched wilderness of Piedras Blancas National Park, this renowned eco-lodge stands as a unique sanctuary. It holds the distinction of being the only hotel in this remote national park that remains accessible by car throughout the year. Recognized by Lonely Planet as one of Costa Rica's top five eco-lodges, it proudly carries a Level 3 Certificate of Sustainable Tourism from the Costa Rican Tourism Board for its environmental stewardship, reforestation efforts, and support of community initiatives.

The expansive property features a lush tropical garden, a productive fruit and vegetable garden, and 25 acres of protected rainforest, which is being designated as a private nature reserve. This diverse ecosystem attracts over 200 species of birds, along with monkeys, wildcats, anteaters, and a wide variety of other wildlife. The accommodation includes 19 rooms spread across eight rustic cabins and an exclusive jungle villa, all with private baths, ceiling fans, and terraces, accommodating up to 40 guests.

The eco-friendly pool is equipped with a sand filter and an electrolysis chlorinator system that converts salt into chlorine, allowing for water recycling. Guests can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, and bike tours, as well as boat tours in the nearby Golfo Dulce.
