This exceptional estate is a historic 12th-century retreat transformed into a 9-room boutique hotel that blends a unique natural setting with an unparalleled architectural legacy. Surrounded by mountains, forests, and just a stone's throw from the iconic Lake Banyoles, the hotel is situated in a picturesque location with easy access via a charming paved road that winds through the forest and the plains of Plà de l'Estany.

Upon arrival, guests are greeted by cool shade provided by majestic centuries-old trees and a private parking area for added convenience.

Architecture and Historic SpacesDesignated as a Cultural Asset of National Interest, the main building dates back to 1162 and once housed medieval knights until the 15th century. The imposing defensive tower and the Gothic archway entrance lead to a reception area and an impressive vaulted hall, ideal for exclusive events and gatherings.

On the first floor, a double-height dining room with Gothic arches stands out, accompanied by a cozy living room with a fireplace. This floor also features two suites, a fully equipped kitchen, a guest restroom, and a second living room with a fireplace in the tower, which connects via stairs to an additional suite on the top level of the tower.

From this floor, direct access leads to the gardens that connect to the 1761 rectory, which houses six additional suites, each with a private entrance from the garden or balcony. Four of the suites are equipped with an additional living area and a sofa bed, allowing accommodation for up to four guests per suite. Additionally, the rectory includes a laundry room, machinery room, workshop, and storage space.

Natural Surroundings and Outdoor SpacesThe estate spans one hectare of terraced gardens offering various levels, providing an ideal space for relaxation and privacy. Descending a stone staircase leads to a pool surrounded by lush vegetation, perfect for cooling off in summer and enjoying the tranquility of nature.

At this level, there is a 50 m² service building with a private 13 m² terrace, currently used by the hotel staff. About 50 meters from the main house, a recently restored 150 m² independent cottage provides comfortable accommodations for the caretaker, featuring two bedrooms, a kitchen-dining room, two bathrooms, a living room, and a porch.
